I took a pasta making class a couple years ago and you were fantastic! It was a really amazing experience. I am looking forward to the pandemic being over and signing up for another class. I have a quick question, when we made pasta, you gave us a “spice” of sun dried tomato and another with spinach (I believe) to mix in with the pasta. Are you able to tell me what is it? Is it available from you, or do I have to buy it in store? I would love to make pasta at home for my boyfriend with the amazing skills you taught me! Thanks so much for making cooking fun! If you want a personalized stay at a modern and super stylish bed and breakfast, The Brooklane is the place to be. When you stay here, you are surrounded by a modern Miami and Palm Springs vibe, but you know you are in San Miguel de Allende with all the traditional Mexican decor accents. The location is perfect, being just a few blocks (about a 5 min walk) to the center of town.

As for the breakfast every morning, it was the most amazing food I’ve had in San Miguel, and that is hard to top as there are so many great places to eat. Marina, the executive chef (check her out on Instagram @spicechica) created the most tasty and wonderful dishes to start off our days. We enjoyed breakfast on the most beautiful roof deck. When you are up there, it’s like you are in an oasis. There are beautiful plants, a cozy built in sofa under a pergola, and a dipping pool.

The rooms at The Brooklane are very large, super comfortable, and the decor is to die for! Unusual for San Miguel, every room has air conditioning! You also have a tv with Netflix which is perfect when you want to take a siesta and then catch a favorite show. Every detail of the rooms is perfect, right down to the filtered water that is always available.
If you’re looking for a unique experience, you need to stay at the Brooklane. It’s beautiful, comfortable, stylish, unique, and has the best breakfast around. You also don’t need to worry about getting around or figuring out where to eat or what to do. Esteban and Sebastian will make dinner reservations and coordinate activities if you’d like. They are a valuable information source as they know the city better than anyone. You will be very well taken care of!

Highlites from Mom’s 75th birthday party, it was a good one!

We had Chef Marina, The Spice Chica, come and teach us to make empanadas and gnocchi then she cooked us all kinds of yummy Asado including pork chops, lamb chops, ribs, chicken, sausage and steak! Served with salad and roasted peppers and potatoes. We paired the meal with wines from Argentina 🇦🇷 what a great experience! I highly recommend her, we had an amazing and memorable family night!
